I'm the CEO and Founder of Kizoa and I coordinate both the tech team and marketing team to create the best movie, video, and collage-making application there is! As a team we all get together to constantly come up with ideas for an innovative Kizoa.

My hobbies include photography, getting torn up playing rugby, putting myself back together the following days!

Nicolas

Nationality: French

Languages: French, Spanish

I was the first official Kizoa employee back in 2006, and as the CTO, I've created and developed the Kizoa platform to what we now use today. I continue to develop many new features along with the rest of my tech team so Kizoa can continue to be a leading photo and video creation platform!

I'm said to have a sharp eye that can pick up the smallest details on any screen, pixel by pixel, which may be why one of my favorite hobbies includes coding. Some other hobbies of mine include building and vacationing in Las Vegas!

Thomas

My main role is to transform Kizoa from Flash into HTML5 along with the rest of the tech team. Along with this project I also work on enhancing new features and options for a totally new and improved Kizoa!

My hobbies include creative coding, macro photography, cooking, and watching T;V. series!

Languages: French, English, Creole, Gujarati, and beginner's Spanish

I work in partnership with Thomas to recode Kizoa into HTML5. I'm also in the process of developing our brand new Kizoa Gallery for everyone in the Kizoa community to come together and share their amazing creations!

My hobbies include watching movies, soccer, computer programming, and playing video games!

I am the Head of Marketing and oversee the lead on new projects such as the revolutionary Kizoa mobile app! I am also an important part of the creative process when it comes to thinking of new features and content for Kizoa.

My hobbies include cruising around on my motorcycle and filming my adventures on my GoPro, enjoying everything Paris has to offer, and getting informed about the latest innovations in the internet world!

Veronica

Nationality: American, French, Austrian

Languages: English, French, Spanish

As the Marketing Team Manager, I lead the marketing team in preparing and distributing important updates, news, and exclusive features on Kizoa. I also oversee all of our online advertising campaigns as well as manage the English and Spanish-speaking markets.

My hobbies include riding bikes, learning to play the piano, and travelling!

Not only am am I in charge of customer support for our French-speaking users, I also oversee customer support training for new Kizoa team members. I also take care of various office administrative tasks as well as provide assistance to Yanaï.

My hobbies include keeping up with the latest beauty and fashion trends, watching rugby, and dancing!

I oversee the Italian market for Kizoa including sending out newsletters for any exciting updates on Kizoa, guiding users by email or on the phone, updating Kizoa in Italian, as well as handling press relations in Italian.

My hobbies include figure roller-skating, travelling, painting, and cycling!

I'm in charge of the German-speaking market for Kizoa which includes making sure that our users are always informed on our latest updates, as well as assisted with any questions they may have. I also oversee all press relations in German so that you always have the latest scoop of Kizoa in the news!

My hobbies include Rock and Metal music, concerts, books, cinema, and pole dancing...for exercise of course! ;)

I take care of customer support for our English-speaking users by answering any questions you may have via email or over the phone. I'm also in charge of expanding our Russian-speaking markets.

My hobbies include traveling, listening to music, cooking Brazilian and Portuguese dishes, and of course... eating them ;)

Paris nous voilà !


L'histoire de Kizoa se déroule dans la ville des lumières, Paris. Non seulement c'est le cadre idéal pour faire de superbes photos mais, un fait moins connu sur cette ville, la photographie a vue le jour à seulement quelques kilomètres.
Kizoa souhaite poursuivre l'héritage laissé par tous les plus grands inventeurs et innovateurs de la photographie. C'est parce que nous sommes animés par la même passion que ces créateurs, que nous vous offrons le Kizoa que vous connaissez aujourd'hui.

1822: Le premier photographe


La photographie débute en 1822 avec l'inventeur français, Joseph Nicéphore Niépce dans sa ville natale de Chalon-sur-Saone, à seulement 3heures de Paris. Sa première photo à malheureusement été détruite par les multiples tentatives de reproduction auxquelles elle a été soumise. Cependant il a pu prendre une seconde photo 4 ans plus tard, elle représente la vue depuis sa fenêtre et est visible au centre Harry Ranson à Austin au Texas.

La photographie : le cadeau de la France au monde


Quelques années après la découverte de Niépce, son partenaire, Louis Jacques-Mandé Daguerre innove la photographie en inventant l'ancêtre ce que nous appelons aujourd'hui "chambre noire" à l'époque appelé un Daguerréotype. En 1838, Daguerre pris la première photo d'une personne, cette photo représente un homme se faisant cirer les chaussures dans une rue parisienne. Cette invention a été tellement révolutionnaire que la France offrit à Daguerre de le payer afin de pouvoir annoncer cette découverte comme "un cadeau de la France au monde", ce qu'il accepta en 1839. Des gens très célèbres et influents ont rapidement demandés leurs auto-portaits en utilisant le Daguerréotype. Parmis ces personnes nous pouvons trouver notamment Honoré de Balzac, Abraham Lincoln ou encore Edgar Allan Poe et bien d'autres...

Les frères Lumière: Des inventeurs extraordinaires


La seconde grande étape liée à la photographie, vient avec l'invention et la commercialisation de la photographie couleur appelée "autochrome", nous devons cette découverte à des inventeurs français, Louis et Auguste Lumière (les frères Lumière). Leur technique consiste à saupoudrer une plaque de verre avec des grains de fécule de pomme de terre teints et fixés par de la résine. Ce procédé photographique est devenu très populaire pour les photos de paysage ou pour les images de photojournalisme.

Les frères Lumière et le cinématographe


Les frères Lumières n'ont pas seulement inventés la photographie couleur, mais également le cinématographe qui est à la fois une caméra et un projecteur de cinéma. Bien que Thomas Edison est été le premier à prendre une photographie en mouvement, les frères Lumière furent les premiers à projeter un film sur grand écran. Ils ont pu y parvenir grâce au perfectionnement du cinématographe qui leur a permis de capturer et de projeter des images animées. Leur première projection à eu lieu à Paris en 1895 au Salon Indien du Grand café. C'est lors de cet événement historique qu'ils ont présenté leurs premier film Sortie des Usines Lumière à Lyon. Ce premier court métrage fût un tel succès qu'ils en produisirent plusieurs autres les mois suivants.

Effets spéciaux par le seul et unique Cinémagicien


L'un des invités à la première projection des frères Lumière n'était autre que l'illusioniste et le cinéaste français Marie-Georges-Jean Méliès qui deviendra plus tard le premier à utiliser des effets spéciaux tel que la surimpression, les fondus enchaînés, et l'arrêt de caméra et d'autres...

Ces films les plus connus sont : "Le Voyage dans la Lune" en 1902 et "Le Voyage à travers l'impossible" en 1904. Ces travaux sont considérés comme les premiers films de science-fiction et utilisant des effets spéciaux encore jamais vus. C'est de ses réalisations qu'il tient le nom de Cinémagicien.

La photographie et le cinéma ont vu le jour il y a longtemps lorsque Niépce pris la première photo de l'histoire depuis sa fenêtre, dans une petite ville hors de Paris. De nos jours, Kizoa poursuit cette aventure avec les innovations et les améliorations de la photographie depuis notre bureau du 20ème arrondissement de Paris. Grâce à ses avancées, nous avons créé un site internet et une plateforme unique vous permettant de multiples possibilités de créations avec vos photos et vos vidéos. Vous pouvez les modeler en laissant aller votre imagination ou avec un petit coup de pouce de Kizoa!
